Otman Gusbi


Otman is an architect with extensive experience, including residential projects, hotels and commercial projects gained at numerous practices in London, and USA. He has specialist experience in interior design and especially an elemental approach to design, founded on an understanding of construction and materiality.


Materials and current architectural design and forms are some of Otman’s passions and he integrates this in his designs for our clients at every opportunity. He has run his own practice for many years and brings this experience and management skill to 50° North. His academic and professional qualifications were attained at London South Bank University and the University of Westminster.


Otman is passionate about engaging local communities in the built environment and design. He volunteered in the pilot scheme for the RIBA National Schools Program, actively promoting and delivering workshops with primary and secondary schools to increase young people’s understanding and awareness of their built environment.


Outside of architecture, Otman enjoys cooking and eating good food, growing and nurturing plants, running, art and illustration, and travel.
